Unity Stamp set: Love Is

As usual, I am getting a challenge card posted at the very last minute.  Yes, I know...guilty of being a procrastinating crafter.  Oh well!  Better late than never right?

I have been absent from the paper crafting community for quite some time, but thanks to some incredibly encouraging friends, I have found my way back to it...and I have fallen in love with this craft all over again.  Thank you Carmen, Kelly, and Grace for reigniting my joy for paper, markers, stamps, etc... I love you ladies!!!

Since I have rediscovered this craft, I have also found a new love... I have become OBSESSED with Unity Stamps!  I have been wanting to play with my fresh, new batch of red rubbah, but health and time constraints have not been cooperating with my creativity.  Fortunately, I found some time to whip something up for the Unity {be inspired} Challenge.  I chose to create a card with a few of the inspirational colors in their beautiful color palette.  I love the various shades of purple; however, I realized I did not have much in my stash.  Luckily, I was able to scrounge up a few pieces of card stock from my scraps...but that did not leave me much to play with.  So, I went to Lowe's and picked up a few paint swatches...problem resolved. :)  Once I had the swatches, the card came together easily.

I look forward to the upcoming Unity Challenge and plan to get something done sooner rather than later.  Have a wonderful evening!!  Thanks so much for dropping by. :)

  1. This card is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! I love that you used paint swatches and puffy hearts and shimmer. Of course doilies have a way of finding themselves on a lot of my cards and projects. LOVE LOVE LOVE this card. Thanks for the shout out, it's so nice that we can support and encourage each other. Crafting is such an awesome way to relieve stress and relax and we ALL need to do MORE of that!
