Best Friends = the Best Time!

Your Heart and My Heart from Unity Stamp Co.
Hello!  I hope your day is going fabulously!  Here in N.C., it is cold and dreary...unlike the past two days that spoiled me with warmth and sunshine.  Now, I am forced to step back into reality; after all, it isn't springtime yet.  Still, an old gal can dream....right?  Hopefully, as some of us "spring forward" on Sunday, the warmer weather and sunshine will be just around the corner. :)  Attempting to remain optimistic...because the older I get, the less my body enjoys the cold, dreary days of winter.  Sorry, I digress...

Today, I have a card that was inspired by the current Unity {be inspired} Challenge.  They have offered up a lovely color combination, which softly whispers "springtime."

Isn't it beautiful?!?  I thought so, which is why I simply had to play.  For me, the first thing that came to mind was DCWV's Linen Closet papers and card stock.  The colors coordinate perfectly with the inspiration piece...and I don't know about you, but I love being able to find all the papers I need in one handy place.  It is an older set of coordinating papers, but I am a notorious pretty paper hoarder...it was once my absolute weakness!  Since I have found my way back to paper crafting, I refuse to purchase any more paper until what I have is used up.  Trying my very best to not break that rule...and the struggle continues...although, I am proud to say that I haven't cracked yet!  I do believe, JoAnn's still carries this beautiful paper, and it should be available somewhere online.  As for the stamp, it is from the Your Heart and My Heart Grab Bag at Unity and it contains five fabulous sentiments.  I love this set!

Well, that about does it for me.  I have an appointment to go to, and I am dragging my heels.  I hope your day is a spectacular one; and if you have a chance to play, pop on by the Unity blog and check out the challenge.  There are three to choose from...color combo...card sketch...and scrapbook sketch.  Also, you have until March 11th to get your creation in for this particular challenge.  Another plus?  You get to meet some amazing crafters!  Of course, don't just take my word for it...come on by and get inky with the rest us. :)

Smiles and hugs,
Carolyn
